The Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), organizer of the Academy Award®-qualifying Tehran International Short Film Festival, has opened submissions for the second edition of the Tehran Pitch Forum.
Under the theme “School Stories,” the forum invites filmmakers worldwide to submit short film projects about children, adolescents, schools, education, safety, trauma, resilience, justice, and hope.
Inspired by the tragic missile attack on Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab, the initiative seeks powerful cinematic responses to the experiences of young people, teachers, families, and communities affected by crisis.
Fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental projects are eligible at the development, pre-production, or post-production stage. The completed film must not exceed 30 minutes.
Selected filmmakers will pitch their projects online and in English before an international jury and invited industry professionals.
